Annarie Boor APTD, PGCT, QTS
Co-Founder, Creative Director & Head of TalentAnnarie Boor is co-founder and director of Tapping Frog. She began performing professionally at the age of eight and trained in performing arts and film before completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching at the Royal Academy of Dance. Her career has threaded the performing arts, education and film together from the start — building departments and programmes internationally, founding ballet education in Zambia, and leading performing arts provision at Cayman International School, where she ran large-scale productions and international outreach partnerships.
Her work as a filmmaker — as writer, director and producer — has produced three feature films under Tapping Frog's production slate, earning fourteen wins and thirteen nominations at international festivals including the Global Film Festival Awards, Oniros Film Awards, Accolade Competition and South America Awards. Recognition across these has included Best Indie Film, Best Indie Filmmaker, Best Producer and Best Director.
As a music producer and studio partner, Annarie has produced the catalogue of Tapping Frog Music artists. Her children's book Bapsie in the Bushveld is published under Tapping Frog Literary, the company's literary imprint. She leads talent management across the Tapping Frog roster — bringing the same principles to artist development that she applies in the classroom and behind the camera: clarity of purpose, genuine engagement with the artist's whole creative life, and a willingness to work in the long term.

Simon Boor CBCI
Co-Founder & Strategic DirectorSimon Boor is co-founder and strategic director of Tapping Frog. His creative practice spans more than three decades, running alongside a parallel career in technology leadership and operational resilience — the two strands informing each other in ways that are rarely separable. Within Tapping Frog's creative work, he has functioned as executive producer, producer, cinematographer, editor, sound designer and production designer across the company's feature film output.
All three Tapping Frog features were produced with Simon behind the camera and in the edit: Being Grace, A Matter of Causality and Icon of Betrayal. His craft credits on Icon of Betrayal additionally include sound design and production design, and his work on both films earned nominations for Best Cinematography and Best Sound Design at the South America Awards 2021. With Annarie, he also shared the Best Producer award at the Global Film Festival Awards for A Matter of Causality.
As a scriptwriter, the Deliverance trilogy — a fantasy action saga with a contemporary earth setting — is a joint creation with Annarie. Further scripts in various stages of development are positioned within Tapping Frog's production slate. In literary publishing, he serves as editor and typesetter on Tapping Frog Literary titles: he co-edited Blessing by Brian J Twiddy (alongside Juliette) and typeset the book for print production; he also edited Bapsie in the Bushveld by Annarie. His editorial work extends across Tapping Frog's written output more broadly.
The visual identity of Tapping Frog's creative output is also Simon's work. He designed all three film posters, all music cover art across the Tapping Frog Music catalogue, and all book covers for Tapping Frog Literary — a consistent graphic thread running across the company's verticals.

Juliette Boor
Publishing & Literary LeadJuliette Boor trained in dance and drama from an early age and made her professional stage debut in Billy Elliot the Musical, touring the UK, Ireland and Germany. She moved to screen with lead and supporting roles in Tapping Frog feature productions, earning the Best Young Actress award at the Global Film Festival Awards 2020 for her performance in A Matter of Causality — part of an ensemble that also won Best Acting Ensemble at the Oniros Film Awards that year.
Within Tapping Frog's production operation, Juliette has served as Associate Producer and development contributor — supporting research, editorial direction and production workflows. As Publishing and Literary Lead, she holds editorial responsibility across Tapping Frog Literary, applying academic rigour to manuscript decisions and championing new voices across the company's publishing output. She co-edited Blessing by Brian J Twiddy — the first Tapping Frog Literary title in print — alongside Simon, and is developing a documentary strand that bridges archival research with contemporary storytelling.
Her combination of performance background, editorial discipline and research training makes her the connective tissue between Tapping Frog's creative production and its literary operation.
